Mini monitor resolution question

Any one got a mini yet? I am looking at one to replace my beige at 
work. The question I have is will the Mini support monitor resolutions 
of 1600 x 1200 or 1792 x 1344?

The specs say it will support up to 1920 x 1080 and just by pixel count 
it SHOULD support 1600 x 1200, but knowing Apple with their 
non-standard standards ( yeah, that keyboard cable for my new Plus 
looks just like a regular phone cord so let me just plug in this longer 
cable that I bought for my phone...)  you just never know.
