What are you using it for? A faster hard drive is always nice, but not necessarily the best upgrade option for your needs. For example:
Crunching large spreadsheets? Ram and processor are your best upgrades
Heavy photoshop? (my opinion) Ram, then processor, then HD
Huge databases? HD is good
Light office work? Enough ram to open all apps at once, then leave them open all day so that starting an app off a slow HD is not an issue
Yes, you will notice a difference with a faster HD, but you will also notice one with ram or cpu upgrades also.
Let us know what your main uses are and we can advise from there.
