Oh thank you, you guys helped me greatly, a friend of mine gave me (yeah!!!!) a 256MB pen Mobile Disk from twinmos, making it possible for me to move my files. I thought it was funny because in the HFS partition a folder said it was 515MB so I started moving things one by one, but I had forgotten that the HFS format makes files bigger, in the end, it all fit in the Mobile Drive and I was surprised I only needed to use it two times. Its been a LONG time since I used HFS in a drive bigger than 1GB, of course my older macs have it but they are not bigger than 500MB so you can't even notice the big file size.
It's true I am going to need an ethernet crossover cable (thanks to the one who mentioned it!) I just verified it, I'll see if I get it in Radio Shack. Thanks to Doug and everyone who helped!
