Nothing will work when the computer is off. Mac OS X will run its' utilities in the background overnight if you leave you computer on, but you need t leave it on every night because the jobs run at different times and frequencies.
There are three others that I know about. MacJanitor is free, Cocktail is shareware and Onyx is also free.
