Does anyone know if there are any third-party alternatives to the Harmon
Kardon Apple Pro Speakers normally used with G4's, Digital Audio and newer?
If so, how would one go about finding them? If I search eBay for "G4
Speakers", all I seem to get is the Harmon Kardons. I'm looking for more
choices. Thanks. John Hixson

There are two jacks on the back of a DA. The first is a 1/8" stereo headphone jack. It's standard line out, suitable for headphones or external speakers. The second is a tad smaller to prevent you from accidentally plugging headphones into it. This is the famed 'digital' jack. The only thing special about it, the amp is onboard the mobo, so the speakers hooked to it don't need amps of their own. Nothing digital actually goes over that line if I recall correctly.
