The browser situation is getting worse for Classic Macs. New Web technology - by banks and PayPal and the like - is making a lot of browsers unusable. It's strange how Explorer has fallen by the wayside....
IE is not unusable... it WILL load the pages, but in many cases needing a lot of tries. So the software cannot be incompatible.
I used OS 9.2.2 and Netscape 7.0.2 for several years and really had no problems getting into paypal. There might be a week or so that it wouldn't fully load and you hit reload and it would be fine but no major problems...so I wonder if there isn't some other problem.
I sell on ebay and need Paypal daily...sometimes SEVERAL times a day...it was fine!
Some people using OS9 don't seem to have any trouble with IE and PayPal. Some, like me, can get through, but only with a lot of trouble. And others just cannot load pages at all.
