I have been given another opportunity to point out that saving the day is
exactly what iCab is intended to do for OS 9. The unfinished 2.9.8 also
runs on OS 8. I am not enitrely certain that the finished iCab 3 will run
on OS 8, but I believe it is intended to run on the higher versions of that
system. This will be a fully modern browser for the "obsolete" Mac OS.

OS 9 users should download iCab 2.9.8 and pay for iCab Pro now, in order to
support development. Interested licensees can ask for the latest beta
version of iCab 3 and become a tester. From reading the Yahoo email list
for iCab, it appears there are less OS 9 testers and also more problems in
OS 9 which need to be found and addressed.
