The printer in question is a LaserWriter Select 360. It HAS PostScript 2. So with a LocalTalk-to-EtherTalk adapter, it should work with OSX?
Absolutely, it should work then. Like I said, with my old LaserWriter plus it was seen, complete with it's Appletalk name 'Eater of Trees', but it threw an error page whenever I tried to print.
Hopefully with the Beige G3, but at least with a newer Mac? My friend is a bit fed up with wrestling with the Beige, and is considering a Mini,
Either will work with the printer connected to the network.
