Fair enough. As someone else pointed out, you can ctrl/right-click on
anything in the finder, and within the contextual menu will be the option
to 'Move to Trash'. Unfortunately it's vertical...but the 'Move to Trash'
should be right below the row of Color Label selectors (ie. so it might be
easier to pick out from the other choices)

Or, as someone else pointed out, just start using Cmd-Delete to put items in the trash.


Or, as another alternative, use Terminal to remove files. Being a Unix guy, that's what I prefer anyway.
