As a long time ( some say old time ) Mac user from
1985, I too had some issues with acceptance moving
from 9 to OSX. I relly did not like 10.1.X ( but who
did ) and continued to use 9 for various app's. As OSX
evolved, so did I. By the time the OS got to the
10.2.X versions I had completely abandonded OS 9.
Don't even have classic loaded on any of the 3 current
Mac's I own.

OSX is much more elegant, powereful, and stable. Once
you get past the fact that it is not 9, it is a
wonderful operating system. 

I use WinXP at work all day. Moving from Win2K to XP
was a technical challenge just as moving from 9 to OSX
was, but well worth the change. Someone on list uses
the following as their sig line " Change is
inevitable, the struggle is optional". 

Acceptance and mastery of change is the key.
