Hello,
In the System Preferences list there is a listing at the bottom called "Others".
I have a couple if icons that relate to programs I have removed. How do I remove these icons?
I have a G3-mt computer using OS 10.2.8.
Thanks
Wilton
I'm not one to recommend trashing things in OS X but in 10.2.8 there are two places to find those System Preference items.
System > Library > PreferencePanes or
Users > UserName > Library > PreferencePanes
If the application has been removed then tossing these shouldn't hurt anything. I'm guessing they should disappear from the "Others" in your System Preferences after being deleted.
