There are IDE connections on the motherboard. If you drop down the side; down at the bottom towards the rear you should see a 50-pin ide cable with two connectors on it. It's quite short, only a few inches long.


It's NOT near the optical drive, but is down in the bottom of the system.

Watch the video here on installing a second hard drive in a sawtooth, it's the same process.

The IDE drive goes in the bracket where the existing drive is in the hard drive replacement instructions video:
