Thanks for replying. Downloaded latest SCSI driver (9.x.x) from Iomega.com but installer froze my system so badly I had to yank the plug again.
Installed driver supplied with OS8.6 version 6.0.2. It locked up the computer when I tried to copy files to the Zip disc, same as on OS 9's driver, version 6.0.8. Would you look at those machines you fixed this problem on and tell me what version Iomega SCSI/ATPI driver you are running with 9.2.1? Any other ideas? Instead using the Iomega driver with came with the OS 9.x.x install, I used the sw on CD with came with an ext. SCSI Zip 250 and an ext. SCSI Jaz 2GB. Never had any problem since. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
