On the Cube list, posts would go like this: [Cube] test Re: [Cube] test and threaded view worked fine.
You're not the only one inconvenienced by this.
As another lister who filters and threads, I'm in the same boat. Since the [G] list id was added to the beginning of all subject lines, all my existing threads broke, and replies no longer thread under their originating mail. If the list admins could change the [G] to occur as Eagle points out above, perhaps we threaders would see a more correct view of threads as they form.
