But with the screen being blank and its not seeming to reconize the mouse and keyboard, how do I move forward to reinstall?
It just goes Beep? or is it more of a 'bong'
What appears on the screen? is it lit up? Even if it can't find the mouse/kbd, it should show at least a flashing question mark.
First step would be to restart holding down command+option+P+R and letting it 'bong' at least three times. The srests any weird setting that might be in the PRAM.
