I keep seeing internal connectors on USB-2 and Firewire PCI cards. What can use those?
I think these are used in PC's mostly. There are standard floppy or CDRW sized "modules" that usually have a set of Firewire, USB, memory card slots, temperature, etc. ports and come with cables. You pop these modules into a standard PC where your floppy was or into an open bay and this large array of ports are available on the front of the PC rather than on the back where the PCI slots are. I imagine these also work in some Mac's, although I've not heard of that usage so much.
