It works for me. Win98 is running on my work system right now. I'm pretty sure it's the SE version.
Notice, QemuX doesn't work if you try to install it from the CD (one of the options from QemuX) That's why I separately made the disk image, started QemuX and set the properties for the 'computer' to boot from the CD image.
I've tried it with WIn2K, but I keep getting told that the CD is not a bootable image.

At the same time I wrote about this I also wrote to the iEmulator support people about the problem and was very surprised to get a real response to my question in short order. Unfortunately it was too near bedtime last night for me to try the suggestions, but I plan to do so this evening. I know my 98SE image was bootable and even tried it with WinXPpro, but I got tired of waiting for it to do anything so I gave up on that. I also asked about installing MS-DOS 6.22 as it's on 3 floppies, but they didn't respond to that question. Here's hoping their suggestions will work.
