That said, I have copies of the Apple Technician CDs dating from 99 and older or so (up to the Beige G3) so if anyone needs some, let me know and I'll try to scavenge some up.

I don't know. Their policy on this subject seems completely irrational and more than a little bizarre. It's almost as if they don't want people to carry on making good use of their old computers. Apple ought to make them freely available, they contain a lot of information which is difficult to find elsewhere.
