Hello all, can someone give me a quick step by step on how to install OS9.1
on a new mini running Panther.
I have an original OS 9.1 install cd.
OS 9 did not come pre-installed.
I put in the install cd, I click install, it tells me that os9.1 is already
installed on this system folder (it�s looking at the cd), so it asked if I
want to change folders, reply yes, I get the System Preference window for
Classic but the mini HD is grayed out.
What am I missing?
Can you run a classic application? Try opening one up. If it opens, system 9 is already installed, you just cannot boot a mini from OS 9.
