I am trying to transfer HD information from my G3-mt which is using OS 10.2.8 to my new eMac which is using OS 10.3.4. I am using dial-up modems.
I have been given good information, but I have a problem. I have gone to "sharing" on both computers, clicked on "personal; file sharing", and given each computer a name(G3-mt and eMac).
The HD on my G3-mt is divided into five partitions, named OS 10, OS 9.2, BM 3, BM 4, and BM 5. When I turn on both computers, an icon called G3-mt shows up on the eMac monitor. I click on "Go" in the menu of the eMac and slide down to "network". A window opens giving me the option to select the volumes I want to mount. However, only OS 10, BM 4 and OS 9.2 appear in the list and they are gray so I can't click on them. I seem to be part way there, but not all the way.
Help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
