A friend of mine has a B&W G3 with OS 9.2.2, clean install
with Office and FileMaker + Internet, so nothing overloaded.

When she starts it up in the morning, everything is fine, but
after the Mac's been asleep during the day and she goes to
use it in the afternoon, everything is real slow and unresponsive.

It was so long ago I worked with OS 9, and as some of you
know, I can't stand the OS, but what could be causing this ?

A restart solves the problem, so is there something the sleep
does ???
