I have an Apple LaserWriter Pro. I don't know if this uses the Canon engine or not, but I expect so.
My questions are what engine does it use and also what sources can someone recommend for replacement toner?
If you are referring to the LaserWriter Pro 600/630 series, those printers have the Canon LBP engine and, similar to the Apple LaserWriter 16/600 Pro and Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4, 4M, and 5 series, all use HP 98A/E cartridges, which are readily available from Office Depot, Office Max, Staples, and the like.
Do you know if there is a User Manual in PDF form that I could download?
User Guides for all Apple LaserWriters can be downloaded here: <http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=50128>
