I abandoned the idea of a B&W G3 server in favour of a QuickSilver, but now I'm thinking of dropping the QS733 and switching to a B&W G3 350MHz *if* it's a rev. 2.
Am I right in thinking that if it's a rev. 2 I don't have the IDE slave drive bugs and can therefore run it with more hard drives in it. I have also got a PCI-ATA100 card and four 120GB drives.
I recall people talking about a firewire bug. How serious is this ? I have got a FW DVD�RW and an external FW HD.
All this Mac is supposed to do is house the data and run Carracho and maybe some other server kinda app...
