My Pentium -m 1.8 GHz (IBM ThinkPad T42p) runs with about the same heat as
my 1.5GHz 12" PowerBook G4, and is about 30% faster.  Add its better battery
life and the fact that it only weighs about .3 lbs more (same weight as 12"
iBook) despite its vastly superior 14.1" 1400X1040 screen and it is clear
that at least that particular (albeit high-end) Wintel laptop is engineered
just as well or better than my brand-new PowerBook is.

If I can install OSX on my ThinkPad then I will sell the PowerBook.  Of
course, I'm a touchpad hater and eraserhead fan.
