Sorry yersinia, but over time, as my iBook depreciates out, I will
still be wanting to add new software to it. In other words, as times
goes by, my computing needs will increase as well. Also, there is
the simple fact that computer hardware, no matter what it is, will
reach a point where it's probability of ceasing to function
increases. You've seen this first hand with your last G3 powermac.
I may be wary of this change, however, my main reason still stands
for sticking with the mac: the mac OS. I hate winblows, and do not
want to go back to relying on the OS that simply doesn't work.
In time I will need a new machine, and it looks like this new machine
will be a n intel powered mac.

Then don't upgrade! If you like what you've got and it does everything
you need it to do, you have no reason to upgrade. :-)
