Help! I've been trying to get a 400 Mhz Maxpower G4 to work in a Blue and White G3. This came out of a Beige desktop where it worked perfectly, but I can't get it to work in the B&W. Any ideas? TIA. Paul Nelson
*I* tried a 400mHz G3 ZIF im my Rev A B&W 300, and it refused to boot. That was with correct jumper settings. My own feeling is that changing ZIFs may not be straightforward.
I sold the ZIF and the new owner is happy with it... -- Andrew Grebneff Dunedin New Zealand Fossil preparator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Seashell, Macintosh, VW/Toyota van nut HUMANITY: THE ULTIMATE VON NEUMANN MACHINE DEMOCRACY: RULE BY THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
