Think before you post! And if you are not being helpful,
then don't bother?

I cringe when someone here thinks telling someone to "just
buy this and upgrade to this" is helpful. Especially
without even reading and understanding the original post or
who you are addressing. Not to mention feeling the need to
use all caps. I'm sure people are aware of the option to go
out and spend money on new software or hardware. If someone
has a working older car that has a flat tire would you
suggest buying a new car to solve the problem? The guy was
talking about his system running prescription checks,
hardly anything major.

I would wonder if a setting to check subscriptions somehow
got changed. I don't recall where or how those are in OS
9.2 but as David has said should be within the browser
prefs. I seem to recall mine use to run when I first
started up the computer in OS 9 as I always had an active
cable connection.
