And to add to the annoyance, the Mail puts the sig at the very end of
the whole message, NOT where the cursor is...........grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I agree about the top posting (also trimming), but Apple's software
designers seem to feel differently: at least if there's some way to
make Mail place the insertion point at the *end* of a Reply instead of
at the beginning (used to be easy in OE) I haven't found it yet.
Anybody have a fix?
