Are you running "OS X" and if so which drive is resident for the "OS X" operating system?

Best Regards,

Harry (*^_^*)

Hi Harry, yes I'm running 10.2, but the OS resides on a separate drive. The data transfer was taking place between purely data drives.

One more thing I forgot to mention. The IDE drive which was being copied to is not on the internal IDE bus, but rather a PCI ATA-66 card. I'm sure that had something to do with it also. If my 2 new drives ever arrive from California, this drive will be replaced by 2-120 Gb drives to be used to backup the SCSI drives.

Just a message from Doug...
