If the site is Java-based, it may be the version of the Java machine you
have needs to be updated. What is it?

There is no pop-up blocking in Mac IE 5.x, other than to turn JavaScript
clean off in the Preferences.

Most of this is IE-related -- unfortunately that browser has not been
updated in years, & never will be, for Mac. That's why so many of us
recomend some sort of Mozilla build (WaMCom works under 9), or iCab.
