On dial up time is time and up is sending data out of my computer and down is download data to my computer, so when I go to a site, it is requested by up data and the server responds with a down load to my computer.
Keeping track of what is going on IF ANYTHING is wise, since if the site is written in html 4 or xhtml sometimes it will cause a stop and the only way to get out is using the esc key killing the browser. So I watch what goes and need to see it. Put Menu Meter in versiontracker or google it!
