Change your hub from USB to Ethernet and everything should work just fine.

What spectacularly poor advice.

Your instructions would have him end up with two computers connected to an ethernet hub and a printer connected to nothing, since the G85 only comes with a usb port.

Well for my spectacularly poor advice, you can get a ethernet hub (if you don't already have one) on eBay for $0.01 and you can also get an usb to ethernet converter for $0.01

Check out what it will cost you for an USB Switch.

I'm sorry for suggesting a very cheap why, but very spectacularly poor way to accomplish your needs.
