the only time i had a "kernel panic" I was
booting/downloading a new program and wow all hell
took place1 A week in the apple store client and all
was well. The problem was a dead HD. I sure hope that
not the case with your Mac. the good news well HD are
less money today then they were last year.

I'm sorry if I gave the impression that I have any problems.
My G4 AGP, works just fine. I have a 120 GB and an 80 GB drive. The 120
GB is on the cable as the master drive and the 80 GB is slave. This is
a jumper setting, not necessasarly where they are on the ATA cable. The
120 GB drive is partitioned into 4 drives, and the 80 GB is partitioned
into 6 drives. The 80 GB came out of another system and that is how it
was formated, so I never made any changes.
Never have any problems except that I subscribe to emails from "Target"
and sometimes they send an email that kills the mail application. So I
have to login to my ISP's page and delete the email from "Target" and
then everything is Okay.
Happy as He... with this set-up
Best Regards,
Harry (*^_^*)
