OK,I need some help.
On my B&W G3/400. 1Gb Ram, I was trying to replace the stock G3 with an PowerLogix G4/500 chip. To do it, I was to upgrade the firmware. It is running X (10.3) on it, and I have tried to upgrade the firmware, with no luck, including trying to run Classic mode. It starts to run, then says "This update if for a PowerMac G3 only (I was running the G3/400 chip at the time.
But, that is not the worse part.
Now, I reboot, and the Apple shows for a moment, and then flickers off. It is replaced by a circle with a line through it.
That is it.
I reset the cuda switch, reset the PRAM, and still no luck
Any ideas what I did to this bad boy?
