Why do you believe that the family number listing in MacTracker is
complete, and not a work in progress? I doubt MacTracker is infallible.
That info had to come from somewhere. Where? And how complete were
those sources? I don't know. Do you?

I don't believe that. The Sawtooth's have the following Family Numbers:
M6921, M7232, M7824, M7825, M7827
