(I'm guessing that the power jack on the back of the internal drive isn't a standard 4 pin molex style jack) Really, no one could say without knowing the pinout of the power jack and power requirements of the drive. If the power requirements are the same for any random internal device, the existing power supply would be able to power it, provided you are able to wire the 5 and 12 volt lines up to the proper places. If the drive requires something different than 5 and 12 volt lines, or just happens to draw more amps/watts than what the internal P/S was designed to handle (doubtful, but one never knows), you could either find a transformer to change the voltages to what the drive needs, or leave it as external. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
