Doug, Mine works just fine with everything except FireFox.
Let me clarify that, it works with FireFox but I haven't found a way
to make it scroll one line at a time and it seams to be kind of slow.
I can click the scroll wheel one time and about 1 second later the
scrollable frame will move. One click of the wheel on the Logitech
optical mouse relates to about 5 or 6 lines in FireFox.
I know in the Logitech control panel there is a preference which can
be set for "Scroll increments from Small to Large. I currently have it
set to Medium and its just what I want for everything except FireFox.
So if "Small" would work for FireFox I don't want to go into that
control panel and make changes when I want to use FireFox.
So in the end I only use FireFox occasionally.

Okay, I see what you mean now. Mine move about 2.5 lines per click of
the wheel, but I don't have any preferences set up for it at this time.
Just the way it came out of the box. The old saying, "Different
strokes for different folks" comes to mind. I'm happy with mine just
the way it is. Now it's such a pain to use a mouse on some of my other
systems where there is no wheel to scroll with.
