No, just a couple of weeks: but I don't usually rest my wrist on it, just the heel of my hand -- maybe all sorts of unpleasantnesses are lurking in the future, but for the time being this arrangement (wristpad plus hockey puck mouse that nobody else likes, sitting next to the keyboard on a low pullout shelf) is definitely the most comfortable and convenient setup I've ever had.

And on the related question (manual typewriters), the feel is entirely different and as others have pointed out the actions are much more varied, even for us fast touch typists who looked straight ahead at the paper in the platen much more frequently than to the side at something being copied. Besides, isn't the carpal trouble problem (never have I had a whisper of such an ailment, said while knocking frantically not on ersatz composition computer table but on adjacent ancient solid wooden desk) more likely to originate from use of the mouse than of the keyboard? Has anyone had it in their non-mouse hand?

Best,
Victoria
