What's Your Mac's Name?

Now this is a thread I can sink my teeth into. LOL I've enjoyed this. Most of my computer names have been the obvious "My Computer" or "<<insert name>>'s Computer." How boring, but I spent more time on naming hard drives instead. My 7500 had both "Mulder" and "Scully" and the PowerBook 190 we used at the time was "The X- Files." I've had other names from my SE on, but can't remember them now since all those macs are now parts and I never boot them anymore.

When I did my last major backup on my new firewire drive, I got less creative just to keep all the partitions straight. The two on my B&W are: B&W OS X are B&W OS 9. Oddly, when I installed Tiger, it decided the name for my computer is now "PowerMacG3series." I'm not sure where it got that except that there are the two hard drives.

My two iBook G3s are simply: iBook 1 and iBook 2. Our Gateway peecee is "The Dark Side." And our iPod is "Panacea."

You all have me now thinking of coming up with new names for the B&W series and the iBooks.
