My Linux box is scuttlebutt, named after a friend's cat. I used to name all of my systems after friends' pets, but now my PowerBook is kennedy, named after our former President, and my iMac is boston, named after one of my former cities of residence. (This has nothing to do with the real-world relationship between "boston" and "kennedy.")
