So I called dynex last night and as I was afraid of,
the CR said, nope no mac drivers for dynex m-300
modem.
So, thanks to you all for indulging me. My mistake
for believing the company's compatibility information
on the website... >:-(

In regards to the modem I was using before this switch
to panther, I had no problems with it in 9.2, I just
had to run it through a Keyspan usb adapter for my b&w
since it had no external modem port. So when I
switched over to panther, I put in the X version of
the driver for the keyspan adapter, plugged in my
trusty modem and it will tell me that my "modem is not
found".(never mind that I have the correct modem
script selected.)
So how do I decide if it is the adapter's problem or
the modem's problem?

Any thoughts?
TIA
Jason.
