The 4/600 is an Appletalk, network printer, but it's interface is the
round localtalk cable, not ethernet. So, from the hardware side, you
just need a localtalk cable and then a localtalk to ethernet adapter
(or bridge) and then an ethernet cable to plug into you mac. I'm
kinda partial to the Farallon Etherwave adapter because it has the
localtalk cable built in and also serves as a minihub:

If you're running OSX, just make sure in the network pane of the
preferences that Appletalk is active. Then you should be able to add
it as a printer, just like any other postscript, appletalk printer.
