Hi,
I'm not so sure about this, my free yahoo account allows pop access from
my email client.
you can set this up in pop access and forwarding which you get to from
mail options on the welcome page to your account.

I use the web for my yahoo mail. But then that's

applications(Eudora, OE, Applemail).
Do you PAY for yahoo mail? this is the crucial difference.
The pay accounts can be used with other mail applications, the free
ones can only be used with a web browser.
