upgrading from OS 9.1 to 9.2.1 or 9.2.2, unless one is adding OS X,
because the added features of 9.2 are directed at compatibility with OS
X using OS 9.x in Classic mode, and do not improve the function of OS
9.x as a stand alone Operating System. If this is not correct, I would
be happy hear the correction. Others on here are true gurus. I just
play like one with people who know less than I do, which ain't much.>

Oh, yes there is, Don (even though I'm not a guru either, hahaha, and I
still have no need of OS X). I received a shocking and wonderful surprise
when I upgraded my G3/266 Beige from 9.1 to 9.2.2. Here's what I notice
about 9.2.2 over 9.1 --

1. The Mac boots up A LOT faster.
2. Applications and files open up a lot faster too.

I love 9.2.2!!!! :-)
