Well, I updated a Sawtooth 450 to Dual 450 and it made a big difference.  
Booting the system was MUCH faster.  Based on my experience, I agree with 
others who have said a dual 450 is about the same as a single 800.  If you're 
like me and run lots of programs at the same time, the responsiveness of the 
Dual systems is fabulous.  Sure, if you're running only iTunes and nothing 
else, an 800 will rip a CD faster than a Dual 450, but if you want to use 
iTunes, InDesign, LimeWire, Safari and Graphic Convertor all at once - give me 
a dual system every time, even if the raw clock speed is lower.
