I am currently using an ATTO UL2 with 10.2 as a bootable system disk.
With 10.3 I recieved very poor disk performance results so I went back to 10.2. Officially ATTO does not support the UL2 controller with anything higher then 10 or 10.1. I sent an e-mail to atto support regarding the poor 10.3 performance and they told me to buy a new ATTO controller.
They did send me copies of all the available firmware for the card. If you email me directly I will send you the firmware files.
One catch with my atto scsi controller - If i restart with a APPLE-OPTION-P-R it will not find the boot disk and the mac (blue&white Rev 2) will startup with a flashing folder. I have to start with a Mac OS 9 CD and select the ATTO SCSI drive as the boot disk.

I thought that Atto wasn't going to release a firmware update for OSX and the UL2D. Did that change? What version of the firmware are you using? Do you still have the Apple version installed? If so, are disks on the Atto UL2D bootable?
