Who ever wrote this is one percent correct although it will not boot from this drive I have no problem burning with toast.When I need to boot I just shove in
 another drive load system software then put the burner back in.

Oh yes, it makes so much more sense to buy a new drive one can't boot your Mac with, and then have a second just for booting that you need to swap out. A sometimes major feat depending on the system model.

Or maybe, ... simply buy a quality Mac-bootable drive in the first place and do it right for what, a mere $10 more.
