I'm not entirely sure Fabian about the Espon driver.
Loaded from the Epson CD.
Where would I look on my HD?
I did find the Gimp download but haven't installed yet.
Attempts to download from the Epson sight
"TWAIN Driver and EPSON Scan Utility v2.65A"
(which claims 10.3.x compatibility consistently fail.
It's a whopping 40.5 MB file that always stalls at 33.5
reporting "POSIX error connection reset by peer"
I have no problem downloading Epson File 11390.sea (TWAIN Driver and
EPSON Scan Utility v2.65A).
Well, that's weird. But maybe not important since I have see I
already have the TWAIN driver installed.
I notice on Version Tracker some dialog on difficulty with Espon
and earlier OSX issues and complaints about Epson customer support.
So maybe this is an endemic incompatibility?
Over several years I contacted Epson Technical Support twice by e-
mail, with questions about Mac OS X support for very old Epson
printers, and received prompt, courteous and helpful responses.
I may have been premature on this one. These posts were old.
I did find the Epson support page and I'm waiting a response.
The holiday will slow things down I'm sure.
Aside from the erratic connection, I think the TWAIN problem may rest
with PhotoShop.
Maybe I need to install some sort of plug in or something.
