I put a new ATA 160 GB Seagate in a USMicroLab external combo Firewire/USB case and connected it to my iBook 10.4.2 to format. Disk Utility did not see it via firewire or USB.<< _ >Hook the drive up again, go into (disk utility) and format it their.
