I hate reposting my own answers with additions BUT I left out some
things
Got to get our terminology straight -----
INSTALL Terminology
Clean install = WIPE disk (delete everything or reformat)
Install = overwrites SYSTEM and possibly any customizations you have
done. Should leave everything else alone.
Archive & install = saves USER data & customizations --- JUST
overwrites SYSTEM stuff (and possibly cache's etc.)
Seems clear and sensible to me!!
